Digital Wall-Shield Primer

Digital Wall-shield Primer is a modified acrylic, water-based alkali resistant primer-cum-sealer with silicone additives. It can be applied on interior and exterior cement plaster surface. Its binder rich formula is specially designed to seal porosity of highly absorptive substrates. Its use not only prevents efflorescence and alkali, but also offers higher coverage to subsequent top coats. Our product is a sealer system that works both as a sealer and as an undercoat with excellent hiding property and coverage. Penetrative Acrylic Polymer, Silicon and Titanium makes it a premium wall primer product.

Process To Priming

  • Apply a prime coat with 30% dilution using potable water by volume.
  • Apply topcoat as per required. (**May required 2-3 coat)

 105-115 sq ft/liter/per coat

Application Procedure

  • Ready-to-use formulation.
  • Apply by brush, roller or sprayer.
  • Stir thoroughly before and occasionally during use.
  • Dilution ratio – upto 70% by volume.
  • Dilute no more than 10% water for spray application.
  • Prime the entire surface to ensure a uniform appearance of the topcoat.
  • Application in wet humid conditions will slow drying time.

Safety Features

  • Store the container with the lid tightly closed in an upright position, in a cool, dry place.
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from eatables.
  • May be harmful if swallowed. In case of ingestion seek immediate medical attention.
  • Wear eye protection and face mask during application. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water and seek medical advice.
  • In case of skin contact immediately wash skin with soap and plenty of fresh water.
  • Get medical attention if irritation develops or persists.
  • It is recommended to wear suitable nose pad during sanding and surface preparation to avoid dust inhalation.
  • Do not pour leftover paint down the drain or in water courses.
  • In the event of spills, contain spillage using sand or earth. No added Mercury, Arsenic & Chromium.

Surface preparation

  • Surface must be clean, free contaminants, mould and mildew.
  • Scrape off loose paint and sand to a smooth surface.
  • New plaster must be cured at least 30 days before priming.
  • For adhesion on glossy surfaces, scuff sand surface thoroughly before priming.
  • Repair holes and cracks with Digital Wall Putty.
